Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely-in a pretty and well-preserved body-but rather a skid in a broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, "Wow, what a ride!"-anonymous
Gary and I got a kick out of this picture because we remember doing the same thing- aren't those directions fun?? Love Jackson's striped hood at that jaunty angle- great picture. Oh how I wish I could hold him!
ReplyDeleteLoving your blog (that Kyle sent to me!) but am very frustrated to see such a cutiepie and not be able to smooch him!!! Did you ever dream you could love another human being so much??? Looking back, I would tell you two things:
ReplyDelete1) Always remember that your children are"on
loan" from God. They belong to Him and not
to you. (This is not an easy thing to do!)
2) Train up a child in the way he should "go".
Went thru a bible study that reminded us
moms that we are to train our children to
leave us and "go" into the world. God did
not give us our children to hold on to and
never let go. (This is also not an easy
thing to do!)
You guys will be great parents! We're so happy for you - - - seems like just yesterday . . . .
Enjoy every minute - good and bad - because it goes by so fast!
All our love,
Randy & Chris K
