Baby Dedication

Deut 6:5-9 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strenth. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up....write them on the door frames of your houses and on your gates.

This morning we had Jackson dedicated at church. It was a good reminder to Joel and I that our number one goal as parents should be to show Jackson who Christ is and what he has done for us. I find myself getting distracted too easily and only praying for Jackson's physical health and not near enough for his spiritual health. So, it was good for me to be reminded. :) The pastor also talked about how the love I have for my son is small in comparison to how much God loves him. Very hard to fathom, but quite incredible!
