cry baby.

When his fake cry and dreadful frown...turn to a smile,
I realize how much he has me wrapped around his little finger. But I dont care. He's my baby. Always will be.

No thanks, Ill just have your drink.

Oh the water bottle. Works better than a sippy cup and somehow doesnt make Jackson drown (or more like choke) in a big pool of water like most of his cups do... Too bad it's the size of his leg and much too awkward to carry around. Except for in the comfort of our own home.

Water Street.

A fun weekend we had. Grandma Debbie and Grandpa Gary came, Joel and I went out for Valentine's day, and we all went to the aquarium. It was especially fun because Jackson has officially kicked the crawl and is now walking everywhere.

For Valentine's Day, Joel and I went to Sushi Den. One of our favorite nice places to eat. Halfway to Denver though I realized I was still wearing my slippers!!! How the heck does that happen?! I made Joel stop at target so I could buy some shoes. He was a tad irritated, but soon we were laughing. And since we ran into some old friends at dinner, Im super glad I changed out of the slippers. I wouldnt want anyone knowing I wear those things almost all the time. Except for when... i like, you know, happen to leave the house :)

the not so flattering slipper shot.

The Aquarium

Just another day in the life:)

We have fun together. Jackson and I, oatmeal, pajamas, and a soft comfy couch.

Jeffrey Brown.

My little brother proposed a few weeks ago and Jen said yes! We couldnt be happier with the amazing girl/woman he found. She is a perfect fit for him and our family. And I cant wait to have another girl around who I can talk about citizen jeans with :)photo courtesy of Jen's facebook page. (I really hope that's ok)

scared of the scissors.

It was about time. For his first haircut! I can hardly believe it. Instead of a little baby playing in my family room I now have a little man. He still cries, sucks on his toes, and cant handle the heavy flow of a sippy cup-but dont be fooled. He is a big boy. With big boy haircut.
